'Protect our libraries' – Ruane

Sinn Féin MLA Caitriona Ruane has highlighted the importance of protecting library services following a meeting with Ms Irene Knox, Chief Executive of Libraries NI in Warrenpoint recently.
“During a very productive meeting”, Ruane said, “I emphasised to Ms Knox Sinn Fein’s continued and active support for our libraries, which are a vital community resource.
“They are used by all sections of society, from school children to pensioners, and it is so important we protect this service from the threat of cuts.”
