Police in Newry are appealing for information following an assault in the Francis Street area of the city on Sunday, 21st October.
Around 2am a 28 year old male was assaulted by another male and he sustained serious head injuries and was taken to hospital.
Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the assault to contact them in Newry on 0845 600 8000.
