Newry police probe Dublin Road van theft

Police in Newry are appealing for information after a report of criminal damage and theft at the Dublin Road area on Friday 7th March
Sometime between 00:00am and 7am, it was reported that a van was damaged in the area.
Two pairs of sunglasses and a quantity of tools were stolen, as entry was gained after both the nearside door and rearside door windows were broken.
Police are also investigating a possible link between a similar incident at the Courtney Hill, Newry area overnight on Friday 7th March. It is believed that a number of items were stolen from a van parked in the area. Entry is again believed to have been gained by a side window of the vehicle being damaged. Enquiries are continuing.
